Foam glass gravel - THE INSULATING MATERIAL MADE FROM RECYCLED GLASS

For more innovation in the construction industry

A good two years ago, the family-run companies Reiling and Schlüsselbauer merged their German foam glass activities under the joint subsidiary Veriso GmbH & Co. KG. Since then, Veriso has been producing its foam glass gravel from recycled waste glass, which was previously provided by Reiling, at its two sites in Knittlingen and Husum near Nienburg.

With effect from 1 January 2025, Reiling acquired Schlüsselbauer's shares in Veriso GmbH & Co. KG. ‘We are convinced of the innovative strength and benefits of our foam glass products for the construction industry,’ emphasises Marc Uphoff, Managing Director of Reiling Glas Recycling GmbH & Co. KG.

Foam glass gravel consists of waste glass and convinces with advantageous properties as well as a wide range of possible applications. It is an innovative and ecological alternative to other petroleum-based insulation materials, such as XPS, and can be used in building construction, civil engineering and traffic engineering.
